You sure can. When we set up Pangaea for you, we will ask you which Freight Forwarders your would like to access on the Pangaea system.


Does Pangaea have a reporting capability?

Yes, subscription to Pangaea Easy Reports as offered as an additional service. These reports allow you to examine critical planning inputs such as Supply Chain Performance, Exporter Performance, Trade Lane Reports and Container Delivery.

We have our own resource planning system that we use. Can Pangaea integrate with it?

Yes it can. Pangaea can be configured so that when you enter an order in your system, Pangaea is automatically updated or vice-versa. Additionally, when there are order status updates posted on Pangaea, your system will be automatically updated.

Our internet connection is slow and we put through alot of orders. Is there is a quick way to input orders?

The Pangaea Upload Wizard is the perfect solution for Importers to input large numbers of orders into Pangaea quickly & efficiently.

From an Excel file, Pangaea can export the data and load the orders with only a few simple keystrokes.

What do I need to be able to use Pangaea?

You need a PC computer connected to the internet using a broadband connection. For full functionality, Internet Explorer (IE 6.0 and above) is the recommended browser.

Pangaea is developed on the Microsoft .NET platform and therefore is unable to deliver complete functionality on Apple computers.


How long does it take to access Pangaea?

Less than 24 hours of receipt of either your completed registration form which can be accessed by clicking here

How do my staff learn how to use Pangaea?

Pangaea offers FREE on-demand training videos for your staff, agents and clients. As well as training videos there are help manuals where you can search by keywords to find what you are looking for in seconds.


Will our company data be secure?

Pangaea employs the latest security techniques ensuring maximum security. Some of Pangaea’s security restrictions may be seem as excessive, such as the minimum password complexity and Accept/Decline Business Relationship requirement, however the goal is to make Pangaea as secure as possible.


Can I upgrade my package as I increase my shipments?

Yes, you can upgrade to a higher package at any time.


How do I get upgrades to Pangaea?

Anytime Pangaea releases a new set of features, next time you log into Pangaea, you will have access to these new features immediately. Updates and features are released quarterly and there is no need to download these or make any changes to your system.
