Here are some events that trigger an email alert :

  • Order Created
  • Order Ready
  • Origin Agent Control
  • Voyage (or Flight) Projected
  • Pre Arrival Alert Order Arrived
  • Order Modified
  • Part Order Created
  • Customs Cleared
  • Order Delivered

The email will arrive pre formatted so it is easy to read and to understand. If the language is set to Korean, the email will be delivered translated in Korean.

Here is a summary of the key information that is listed in the alert email:

  • Email subject line: Order number and the alert event
  • Whose action initiated the alter
  • A link posted so a response to email alert can be sent
  • Summary of the key details pertaining to the order including a link back to the order in Pangaea

When key milestones are missed in the freight process, an email alert is immediately sent out so that you can immediately take action to minimize the consequences.
